Awawhiti

Awawhiti was established in 2005 with the goal of producing small quantities of hand crafted wines. We have combined the fruit from quality growing regions in New Zealand with the talents of award winning winemaker Carol Bunn.
Her modern and traditional winemaking techniques produce wines with classic regional and varietal expression. Central Otago is still a young grape producing region, but its climate extremes, culture and the stony clay soil of the region are becoming respected worldwide for producing a quality, fruit-laden style of wine.
